Air Fryers for the LS14 Trust

The LS14 Trust recently got in contact with us to discuss the impact of fuel poverty on the community. Families in Leeds and all across the UK are struggling with the cost of living crisis, unable to afford to heat their homes. This is where the LS14 Trust comes in.

The Trust was set up to bring the communities together in LS14, this includes Seacroft, Swarcliffe and Whinmoor. To help create a vision for these areas to be vibrant, welcoming and happy places. Thanks to support from those around them they have a drop-in centre with a cafe, digital lounge, training room, hot desks, art room and roof garden. Which is all enjoyed by over 1000 members within a three mile radius of the centre.

Due to the issue of fuel poverty the centre has been putting on cookery classes for families struggling, the families are able to learn new recipes using an air fryer or slow cooker. More energy efficient ways of cooking. The families are then able to take home a recipe book and air fryer home with them, to continue using.

The Parklane Foundation are pleased to help such a great cause locally in Leeds, to help those families which are struggling. We hope to continue helping initiatives like this one in the future.
